EDI is a comscript which works on every ns map. It has different features and is designed to play against bots at the alienteam. A vote will start as soon a human player has joined marines and a bot has joined aliens. All bots who are on the server will be add to the aliens if EDI getting enabled with this vote. As soon the round has started EDI will drop the base and will start to research upgrades. Soldiers will get medpacks if they are low on health or will get some small medspam if the marines have the resources for it. Soldiers are also be able to request ammo packs with the ingame popup menu and be able to request a medpack with the same menu. A player who wants some equipment have to tell it EDI with a teamsay command. EDI will drop it at base if there are enough resources and the equipment is researched. Those commands are listed below.
Structures getting handled a complete different way than equipment. EDI will drop RTs automaticly as soon a player is close enough to a free Resnode. Other structures will be droped with a order request from the ingame popup menu. Those structures can only be droped at important positions like marine base, double res or close to a hive location.
